Responsibilities
Information about PCCW By-laws Revisions
PCCW members are expected to be active members. PCCW members are
encouraged to lead or participate in PCCW and University activities as
described in the PCCW Guidelines for Member Participation (see below)
and to make an annual contribution to the University appropriate to their
respective circumstances. We rely on PCCW members to self-report their
activities throughout their term of membership. Download Member

PCCW Guidelines For Member Participation
The following Guidelines for Member Participation have been developed pursuant to the By Laws of the President's Council of Cornell Women (Article VI, Section C). Members are encouraged to participate in as many of the activities described below as their skills, talents, time, and resources permit.
General Activities
- Attend the Annual Meeting.
- Annual giving to the University.
- Recommend at least one new member to PCCW.
Core PCCW Activities
- Active solicitor for donations to PCCW as part of Development efforts.
- Participant in a formal Cornell mentoring, internship or externship program.
- Reviewer for PCCW Affinito-Stewart or PCCW Leadership grants.
- Attendance at PCCW events other than the Annual Meeting, such as regional PCCW events and local PCCW sponsored or co-sponsored programs or projects.
PCCW Leadership
- Chair or Vice-Chair of a Standing Committee.
- Chair of a Subcommittee.
- Organizer of a regional PCCW event.
- Organizer for a local PCCW sponsored or co-sponsored program or project.
PCCW Committees
- Active member in a PCCW Standing committee, participating in committee meetings/conference calls or activities.
- Active member in a PCCW Ad-Hoc Committee, participating in committee meetings/conference calls or activities.
- Active participant in planning or implementing a PCCW regional event, or a local PCCW sponsored or co-sponsored program or project.
Other Cornell Activities
- Involvement in or attendance at other University activities that support Cornell, including but not limited to Cornell Clubs and CAAN activities.
- Involvement in alumni activities and/or leadership roles within University colleges and units.
- Assist any faction of the University with fundraising.
