Committee Goals

The Meeting Planning Committee is responsible for planning the
membership meeting to further the purposes of the President’s Council mission
and to encourage broad participation of members.

  1. Maximize meeting participation.

  2. Explore ways to reach other, non-PCCW alumnae.

  3. Support the goals of the University in meeting programming.

  4. Support the goals of the other PCCW committees through programming.

Maximize access of members to meetings

  • Reach out with a variety of topics
  • Consider ways to help financially (scholarship, ride board)
  • Select optimum date

Vary topics for meetings each year

 

 
Survey members for date preferences

Meeting attendance

  • Reach for Spring Meeting attendance of 20 more than 2005

Register 20 members more than 2005

Explore ways to reach other, non-PCCW, alumnae

Include at least one event for faculty women

Include at least one event for female students

Include non-PCCW Alumnae on panels where appropriate

Support the goals of the University in Meeting Programming
 

Include updates and information on University priorities at each meeting

Support the goals of other PCCW Committees through programming

Includes presentations or other information on PCCW projects and priorities at each meeting
